چکیده
We study local automorphisms of holomorphic Cartan geometries. This leads to classification results for compact complex manifolds admitting holomorphic Cartan geometries. We prove that a compact Kähler Calabi-Yau manifold bearing a holomorphic Cartan geometry of algebraic type admits a finite unramified cover which is a complex

Characteristic Forms of Complex Cartan Geometries
We calculate relations on characteristic classes which are obstructions preventing closed Kähler manifolds from carrying holomorphic Cartan geometries. We apply these relations to give global constraints on the phase spaces of complex analytic determined and underdetermined systems of differential equations.

The most commonly encountered types of complex analytic G-structures and Cartan geometries cannot have singularities of codimension 2 or more.
متن کاملPreferred Parameterisations on Homogeneous Curves
This article is motivated by the theory of distinguished curves in parabolic geometries, as developed in [2]. A parabolic geometry is, by definition, modelled on a homogeneous space of the form G/P where G is a real semisimple Lie group and P is a parabolic subgroup. (There is also a complex theory which corresponds to the choices of complex G’s and P ’s with specific curvature restrictions for...
متن کاملTowards Oka-cartan Theory for Algebras of Fibrewise Bounded Holomorphic Functions on Coverings of Stein Manifolds I
We develop complex function theory within certain algebras of holomorphic functions on coverings of Stein manifolds. This, in particular, includes the topics of holomorphic extension from complex submanifolds, corona type theorems, properties of divisors, holomorphic analogs of the Peter-Weyl approximation theorem, Hartogs type theorems, characterization of uniqueness sets. Our model examples c...
متن کاملPolyakov soldering and second order frames : the role of the Cartan connection
The so-called ‘soldering’ procedure performed by A.M. Polyakov in [1] for a SL(2,R)gauge theory is geometrically explained in terms of a Cartan connection on second order frames of the projective space RP. The relationship between a Cartan connection and the usual (Ehresmann) connection on a principal bundle allows to gain an appropriate insight into the derivation of the genuine ‘diffeomorphis...
